This week in class, we’re reading "A Letter to Thomas Jefferson" by John Adams.

Founding Fathers Adams and Jefferson shared a great friendship and exchanged many letters. This letter captures the famous debate between Jefferson and Adams about core democratic principles.

As we read, we will be discussing the theme of Social Change & Revolution as it relates to the text. We are trying to answer this big question :

"Why do people resist change?"
