This week in class, we’re reading "Dear Sky" by Naomi Shihab Nye.

In "Dear Sky," the speaker of this epistle poem appreciates the sky as they look up from the earth.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Friendship & Family and Human vs. Nature as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"How do we view nature?" and "What is a friend?"
