This week in class, we’re reading "Excerpt from "A Christmas Carol": Marley's Ghost" by Charles Dickens.
In the first chapter of A Christmas Carol, titled "Marley's Ghost," a greedy old miser by the name of Ebenezer Scrooge is visited in the night by an old friend, who warns him to change his ways before it is too late.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Identity and Power & Greed as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"Does money buy happiness?" and "Can you change your identity?"
