This week in class, we’re reading "Getting Even" by Deb Westgate-Silva.
In Deb Westgate-Silva's short story "Getting Even," Rosa tries to get even with a friend who hurt her.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Loneliness & Isolation and Revenge & Betrayal as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"Is revenge ever justified?" and "What does it mean to feel alone?"
