Parent Guide > Middle School
Welcome to the parent guide for this text! Read below to find out about what your child is reading in class and how you can support him/her at home.
This week in class, we’re reading "Middle School" by Ira Glass.
In "Middle School," Ira Glass interviews real-life middle school students about the realities of their emotions, thoughts, and struggles.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Education & Knowledge and Growing Up as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"How do we understand the world around us?", "What does it mean to be grown up?", and "Why should we value our youth?"
