This week in class, we’re reading "Pygmalion" by Ovid, translated by Anthony S. Kline.
Ovid was a Roman poet born in 43 B.C. who is best known for his book of classic mythology, Metamorphoses. Pygmalion is a classic story about a sculptor who falls in love with his creation.
As we read, we will be discussing the theme of Love as it relates to the text. We are trying to answer this big question :
"How does love emerge?"
