This week in class, we’re reading "The Missouri Compromise" by USHistory.org.

This informational text discusses the controversial decision to admit Missouri to the U.S. as a slave state, as well as the compromise enacted to keep the balance of free and slave states in Congress equal in the future.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Justice, Freedom & Equality and War & Peace as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
