The Jungle, published in 1906, exposed the harsh conditions of the meatpacking industry in Chicago and other similar industrial cities. “The Declaration of Sentiments and Resolutions” is a document written by suffragette Elizabeth Cady Stanton and signed by 68 women and 32 men at the Seneca Falls Convention — the first women’s rights convention.
