This week in class, we’re reading "The Smell of Rain" by Jennifer Owings Dewey.
In Jennifer Owings Dewey's story "The Smell of Rain," a narrator claims to be able to smell rain before it comes.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Education & Knowledge and Human vs. Nature as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
