This week in class, we’re reading "The Supreme Court's Ruling in Brown vs. Board of Education" by U.S. Supreme Court.

This landmark decision by the U.S. Supreme Court overturned the "separate but equal" doctrine and called for the desegregation of American public schools.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of America, Education & Knowledge, Justice, Freedom & Equality, and Prejudice & Discrimination as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"How has America changed over time?", "What is fair?", "What are the effects of prejudice?", and "What is the goal of education?"
