This week in class, we’re reading "'Day of Infamy' Speech" by President Franklin D. Roosevelt.
On December 7, 1941 Japan bombed Pearl Harbor, a United States naval base in Hawaii, effectively drawing America into World War II. President Franklin D. Roosevelt, the 32nd President of the United States, delivered this speech to a Joint Session of Congress on December 8, 1941, the day after the attack.
"What makes America unique?" and "What does it mean to be brave?"
