This week in class, we’re reading "The Cave That Talked" by Jyoti Singh Visvanath.

In Jyoti Singh Visvanath’s retelling of “The Cave That Talked: A Tale from the Panchatantra,” a jackal tricks a hungry lion and avoids being eaten.  

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Fear & Paranoia and Resilience & Success as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"How does fear drive action?" and "Why do people succeed?"
