In Teri Ellen Cross Davis' poem "Akron at Night," a speaker describes driving through Akron with their mother at night.  

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Beauty & Happiness and Friendship & Family as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"How can we achieve happiness?" and "What makes a family?"
