This week in class, we’re reading "From "THIRSTY"" by Dionne Brand.
In "From 'THIRSTY,'" a speaker describes the complexity of a city and their feelings towards their life and experiences there.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Education & Knowledge and Loneliness & Isolation as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"How do we understand the world around us?" and "What does it mean to feel alone?"
