This week in class, we’re reading "Yesterday Was Beautiful" by Roald Dahl.

In "Yesterday Was Beautiful," a pilot fighting in World War II finds himself on a Greek Island after his plane is shot down.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Comedy & Tragedy and War & Peace as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"What can we learn from tragedy?" and "How are we changed by war?"
