This week in class, we’re reading "Marian's Revolution" by Sudipta Bardhan-Quallen.

In “Marian’s Revolution,” Sudipta Bardhan Quallen describes the life of Marian Anderson, an African American singer, who helped combat racial discrimination in the early 1900s.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of America and Prejudice & Discrimination as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
