This week in class, we’re reading "Nature" by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.

Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807-1882) was an American poet and educator, known particularly for his lyric poems. In this poem, he compares death to a mother leading her child to bed.

As we read, we will be discussing the theme of Death as it relates to the text. We are trying to answer this big question :

"How do people face death?"
