This week in class, we’re reading "Not to Keep" by Robert Frost.
In "Not to Keep," a loved one of a wounded soldier is grateful and worried when the soldier returns from war.As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Comedy & Tragedy, Honor & Courage, and War & Peace as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"What can we learn from tragedy?", "What does it mean to be brave?", and "How are we changed by war?"
