Welcome to the parent guide for this text! Read below to find out about what your child is reading in class and how you can support him/her at home.

This week in class, we’re reading "Reading the Writing on Pompeii's Walls" by Kristin Ohlson.

In "Reading the Writing on Pompeii's Walls," Kristin Ohlson explains the importance of the preserved graffiti that has been found etched into the walls of the ancient Roman city of Pompeii.

"How are communities formed?", "What is the importance of community?", and "What can we learn from tragedy?"
