This week in class, we’re reading "Stereotype This" by Melanie Fey.

In "Stereotype This" a Native American speaker experiences both the grief and fortitude that they receive from the collective of ancestors long past.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Community, Education & Knowledge, Identity, and Prejudice & Discrimination as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"What is the importance of community?", "What is the goal of education?", "What makes you who you are?", and "What are the effects of prejudice?"
