This week in class, we’re reading "The Effect of Others" by Exploratorium.

"The Effect of Others" explains the scientific concept of social influence and how humans are affected by the behavior of those around them.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Education & Knowledge and Social Pressure as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"How do we understand the world around us?", "Why do people follow the crowd?", and "What are the effects of following the crowd?"
