This week in class, we’re reading "The Homecoming" by Laurence Yep.
In "The Homecoming," a man learns the consequences of focusing on everyone's business but his own.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Gender Roles and Identity as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"Can you change your identity?" and "How do we define the roles of men and women?"
