This week in class, we’re reading "The Secret Source" by Ben Okri.

In "The Secret Source," a man and his girlfriend go on a search for clean water in a dystopian future.

As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Fate & Free Will, Honor & Courage, and Social Pressure as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :

"Can we control our fate?", "What does it mean to be brave?", and "What are the effects of following the crowd?"
