This week in class, we’re reading "The Sun, Moon, and Stars" by retold by Donna Hennes.
In "The Sun, Moon, and Stars," a retelling of a traditional Navajo (Diné) story, First Woman and First Man bring more light to the world by creating the sun, moon, and stars.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Education & Knowledge and Human vs. Nature as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"How do we understand the world around us?" and "How do we view nature?"
