This week in class, we’re reading "The Two Travelers" by Maude Barrows Dutton.
In Maude Barrows Dutton's retelling of the folktale "The Two Travelers," two men are given the chance to complete a series of difficult tasks to receive a reward.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Fate & Free Will and Honor & Courage as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"What does it mean to be brave?" and "Can we control our fate?"
