A lake that’s full of orange juice,
A boulder made of bread,
A mashed potato mountaintop
That towers overhead.
A carrot stick enormous
As a mighty redwood tree
Perches on the shoreline
Of a choppy spinach sea.
A sprig of parsley turns into
A huge primeval plant.
That’s how my dinner looks
When I pretend to be an ant.
