In this famous work of satire, Jonathan Swift proposes a ridiculous and immoral strategy to deal with with overcrowding, overpopulation, and poverty in Ireland.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Comedy & Tragedy and Justice, Freedom & Equality as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"What is fair?" and "What can we learn from comedy?"
