This week in class, we’re reading "The Ants and the Grasshopper" by Aesop.
In this fable of Aesop, a grasshopper asks some hard-working ants for help as winter approaches.
As we read, we will be discussing the themes of Fate & Free Will, Justice, Freedom & Equality, and Resilience & Success as they relate to the text. We are trying to answer these big questions :
"What is fair?", "Why do people succeed?", and "Can we control our fate?"
